Welcome to Puppies Breath!! Our family has been raising puppies since 1993 simply as a backyard hobby.
Through the years, we have furnished many families with wonderful, loving pets. Now we want to share pictures and information
with all of you. We specialize in Golden Retrievers, Standard Poodles and the now popular designer dog, the Golden Doodle.

Sandy pictured here with Barney. Sandy claims
that Barney is the best dog ever! Barney is our AKC male Poodle. He comes from a Champion bloodline
and has been easy to train and a wonderful companion. His coat has a beautiful cream to almost apricot color.

Winnie and Maggie are our female dogs. Maggie is an AKC registered Golden with a silky coat.
Maggie was hand raised by Penny from birth and is very devoted to Penny. Winnie is a CKC registered Poodle.
She is a smart dog who knows what she wants. She is quiet by nature and more independent than our other dogs.

Retriever. Buddy loves Sandy's husband, Larry, and loves riding in the truck! Buddy has sired several
litters of puppies. He and Winnie (also in the picture) have had four litters of puppies --a cross between a Poodle
and Golden Retriever creating the popular designer dog called a Golden Doodle. These are excellent dogs with little
or no shedding because of the Poodle bloodline making the Doodle an excellent dog for those with allergies. Crossing
two purebreds creates a highbred eliminating many of the inherited health problems that are seen so often today.
Jasmine is a beautiful and sweet addition to our
family. Her coat color is blue. She has bonded with Buddy and the two of them together are going
to have an adorable little brood. Jasmine had a sonogram the last week of July confirming she is
definitely “with pup(s)”. They timed it perfectly for Jasmine to deliver on Labor Day.

One characteristic of
a Standard Poodle is that they are very devoted to their masters. If you have never owned a Standard Poodle, one great
thing about the breed is that they do not shed. They are hypoallergenic for those who have allergies. We have
found that with our Doodle puppies this has held true for them as well. The Poodle has been used as a show dog for years
but the original use of the Standard was for hunting. Like the Golden retriever they have the soft touch with their
mouth so when they retrieve, they do not crush the catch. You can leave the hair of a poodle or a doodle the same
length all over creating more of a shaggy standard dog look. Other people enjoy the many special cuts and styles
that is seen more often on the Poodle. A Standard Poodle's hair grows just like a humans so you would need to groom
them from time to time even if you did decide to let their hair style be more natural. This holds true for
Doodle as well. The hair on the Doodle usually slows or stops growing at about 8 inches long.
